Rest assured our products are not ‘sugarcoated’…FREE of Sulphates, Parabens and Petrochemicals. Incidentally, these are no ‘scapegoats’ but shapeshifting ‘Evil Triplets’ in our midst, as our intel sources unveil the culprits.
RISE OF THE EVIL TRIPLETS!
(PROFILES)
Name: Sulphates (ET/1)
Hidden Identity: Sodium Laureth Sulphate / Sodium Lauryl Sulphate
Nickname: SLS
Danger Level: VERY Irritatingly harmful
Description: Cleverly disguised and one of the first few in line (with the highest concentrations level) to be listed in ingredients found in households like baths, shampoos and skincare products. SLS is known to be a detergent and surfactant, mostly used in soaps, shampoos and lotions to create lather. This chemical eats away the protective layer causing the skin to dry and making it more susceptible to infections and rashes from atmospheric bacteria. Likewise for hair, SLS also breaks down the follicles and cause hair to drop rapidly due to its corrosiveness. SLS is an inexpensive skin irritant which when used can corrode the skin. This is why SLS is used often to clean toilet floors, wash cars, remove oil stains and more. (Now we know…)
Good-to-know: Before you hurtle headlong into that irresistible frothy fragrant bubble bath, it might be better to burst your bubbles and have you bolt out of it! (You’re welcome…)
